VIBE is attending the following competitions:
Mar 22-26 : Spring Stars (@ Lakeview Church in Saskatoon)
Mar 29-April 2: 306 Block Party (@ Lakeview Church in Saskatoon)
April 6 - 10 : The Performer (@ TCU in Saskatoon)
May 16-19 : Evolve (@ Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon)
IMPORTANT DATES:
Saturday, Mar 5: Competition Group Dress Rehearsal @ 2:00-5:00 (Attendance required)
Saturday, Mar 12 & 19: Solo/Duo Competition Rehearsals @ 2:00-4:00 (Dancers are invited to attend either one or both afternoons to rehearse their solos &/or duets)

What is required in order to be a competitive dancer at VIBE?
COMMITMENT
o Competitive dancers are required to attend: dance classes regularly, extra scheduled dance practices, Competition Dress Rehearsal, and all registered competitions
o VIBE could be attending up to 3 competitions in a dance season for groups and solos/duets/small groups may attend more competitions if desired
o Private dance classes will be required with an additional cost if requested by the instructor
o Dance parents are required to:
- attend competition meetings
- read all competition communication (competition newsletter, check website regularly, emails, etc.)
- have ALL dance fees (ex. monthly/costume/competition) paid by the set date. An invoice will be emailed with your child’s total cost (competition entry fees + competition cost + GST). 50% of
the total cost is required by Nov. 15 of the current year (Cheque, E-Transfer, MasterCard or Visa). The remaining balance is due Jan. 1 of the current dance season
- all costume fees are to be paid for competitive dance numbers by November 1st of current dance season
- monthly dance fees must be current in order to receive costumes
DEDICATION :
o Students enrolled in competition classes will NOT be able to withdraw from regular dance classes after November 1st of the current year without financial penalty. Withdrawal from VIBE after November 1st, will result in ALL competition and costume fees to be paid in FULL at the time of withdrawal.
o Competitive dancers are required to purchase VIBE merchandise to be worn at competition venues
o Competitive dancers are expected to practice outside of the regular scheduled dance classes and video the choreography to practice at home. (Videos are for the dancers’ personal use only and it is not permitted to be shared on any social media.
o VIBE dancers:
- come to class prepared/dressed in appropriate dance wear
- work hard, listen, take corrections from instructors and apply them
- encourage yourself & others
- work as a team - everyone has to give %110
